My poor sweet wife was trying to print some stickers to cut out with her cricut for our daughter and this guy managed to get her to let him remote connect to her machine.
Luckily, the scammer was dense enough to ask her to call me to try to get me to give my wife my email password over the phone so he could ‘check for the driver he emailed to the registered printer owner’. The machine was shut down.
It was too late to an extent, as he had already managed to place some orders on her Amazon account while he had a scrolling numbers screensaver or similar covering most of the screen.
