Fake billing/customer service number

Received two emails today, one from “Transaction PayPal” which pointed to [email protected] for a $499.95 purchase of bitcoin, and from “Norton Information” which pointed to [email protected], for a $650.98 purchase of 3 years of Norton Internet Security. Of course I bought neither. Both emails listed (202) 539 0490 as the number to call for customer service, etc. (The Norton email called that a “toll free” number. )

Have fun!

appears to be two individual scammers. using mailbait to flood them and signing them up for newsletters now. XD
They just got reported to their email provider, too.

Haha…lol. this was my first time messing with a scammer. I am an Indian but I can fake a pretty good US accent. I wasted about 20 minutes of his time and I really enjoyed it. :joy:
Wow this is so satisfying… Male scammer by fake name Allen picked up my call. I just gave him a random email address and a random name, which he said is present in his database. :joy: Thank you so much for this forum…
