Hello everyone I was able to get my virtual machine up and running took me a while but I got there but now I’m setting up the windows and I’m at the first stage where you add the language keyboard input when i hit enter it just keeps loading it won’t let me move on. Thank you
Need more info:
- VM Ware? VirtualBox?
- Host OS, is it windows?
- VT-x/AMD-x turned on in BIOS?
- Official windows ISO? If so, which version?
- Guest Additions (vmware or vbox) installed? Helps with mouse/keyboard input
If it freezes (hard freeze), and using VirtualBox from a linux O/S tryin to host windows, you could be hitting a known V-CPU max glitch. Seen it even on latest version. Just drop cpu count down to 2 or 1. Slower yes, but stable.
Send more info, maybe we can help. Screenshot and log files would be helpful as well.
Never seen your exact issue myself, on either product. Try vmware player (free) instead, has been more stable in my experience.
