Panic button

I have a panic.bat button I have made on my desktop. It closes any open web browser, in case you wander into dangerous territory on the web and your web browser gets locked by a shady website.

To create, open notepad and paste in the following info …

taskkill /F /T /IM Chrome.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM MicrosoftEdge.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM Firefox.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM InternetExplorer.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM IE.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM Vivaldi.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM Mozilla.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM Brave.exe
taskkill /F /T /IM Mozilla.exe

Save it as Panic.txt on the desktop. Once saved, edit it to be Panic.bat. Will close any open web browser. Enjoy. ![Smile]

Why panic use a VM or a linux box (if you really wanna fuck w/ em), keep calm, use linux

Honetsly, I NEVER use my personal rig, even with a VM …I have a laptop loaded with linux, play dumb and let them try and get into it, will never happen, they barely know windows …everything they try to do will not work on linux (I use backbox but any flavor of linux will work)

NEVER allow then access to your computer EVER, for any reason

Oh, I use a VM. The panic button is to help out your luddite friends & relatives.
