Problems with TextNow

Yesterday I signed up for TextNow and while I can make calls with it there are a few issues:

  1. I can’t receive calls
  2. I can’t verify my email address. I’ve clicked the resend email a few times over the last day but I never receive an email from them. I did receive the initial welcome email, but that was just marketing email.

Is it possible that I can not receive calls because my email is not verified? I also want to lock in my number, which is a paid service but when I click the link to that it opens up a blank window in the TextNow app on windows. The website says I can click on “My Store” in the menu to add this feature but there is no My Store, again I am not sure if this is because I am not verified.
