If I have a Windows 10 ISO but my computer is a Windows 8, can I make a Windows 10 VM without overloading my system? If not, are there some settings that can change on VM Ware to make it work? I would just try it, but I don’t wanna break my computer or something XD. Just curious if anyone knew
It depends on the specs of your computer. And if its supports multi-threading.

In most cases this would run extremely slow, unless your computer is quite custom. As a good tip I would keep your main OS up to date to avoid security holes that have been fixed in newer versions.
hyper-v + good cpu + enough ram = you can run
Just don’t enable Hyper-V for VMware
