hey i got an email from the CRA " Canada Revenue Agency " for like 480$ and i didnt click on nothing cause i know right away its a scam but i dont have a phone number that goes with it i have an email and the email is the reason i know its a scam right away

Yes if they say they want to give u a refund then u dud everything correct. If you did not get a phone number thats fine. But yes just always gather as much info as you can. If you look at my notes when I get a call I am on the phone with scammer and do step by step info of what they do so everyone knows what to expect when they get on the phone with any scammer. I try to make it as detailed as possible.
