Me: OK

JP, hoping I will give him my identity information:

So will you prefer to receive the funds through mail or opening account with bank and receive online access with ATM debit card

Me: Mail

JP:

Alright my dear noted this is licensed by Apple Pay for online access and you will have to purchase an $100 Apple Card

Me: I don’t do Apple. Will you take Amazon?

JP:

Alright get Amazon or Razor gold

Me: Ok. Give me 20 minutes.

JP:

Alright I will be waiting

Me: OK. Here you go:

Tracking link embedded and extra small

JP:

Sent me the card picture

JP:

I shouldn’t download it like that just take picture of the card and send it to me

Me: That is a picture of the card. Is it not clear?

Tracking link embedded and extra large

JP:

Please send it to my phone number directly +13609250212

Me: Maybe this one will work better:

Got 'em

JP:

What is going on ?

Me: You got played, mugu. Quit scamming and get a real job.

As you can see, the link embedded image tactic worked perfectly. We’ll have to test it a few more times, but it seems to be less suspicious than just giving them a link. We’ll see how it works in a longer bait next time. And we all know there will be a next time.
