Oh hooey!!! These guys were a bunch of fun and complete idiots! Had several calls with them
First one - got the standard go-around but directed me to https://geek31.netlify.app which is a fake braded Best Buy site. Has a bunch of links to download or connect to remote desktop control software tools. Was given Ultraviewer (big mistake on his part), so I was able to get this:
The second call was more interesting because they tried to turn into a quasi-FTC where he handed me off the “fraud department” at the bank, who then provided to tell me that my refund would be available in 24 hours with reference ID code GEEK9337860. He then gave me another bank manager, “Kevin Mark”, with number 667-473-3849 for further details that he’ll provide on the status. Things went south from there as I outed him and his buddy in the room … the funny thing is that they kept calling me back for more abuse til finally giving up at 0445 IST. Both idiots sounded like they were stoned out of their minds. But even so, still managed to get this one:
I’m sure these fools will be back at it again tomorrow with the same numbers so feel free to give them the business!
