Does anyone have any info on who and where those robocallers are?
I’ve gotten thirteen calls (so far) over the course of three days from various spoofed (207) numbers, and seen reports on NomoRobo and RoboKiller of similar calls from numbers in other area codes. The calls use different first names, mostly “Amber,” but also “Nina” and “Rachel.” I haven’t yet heard from the male robovoice “Mark” reported on one of the numbers listed on NomoRobo or RoboKiller.
I have yet to talk to a “licensed insurance agent,” since the calls often end with a “the number you have dialed is not in service” after the AI says “That’s all from my side. Now I;ll connect you to a licensed insurance agent.”
I don’t know if they’re trying to troll me, or if they just haven’t set up their Spam-o-Matic ATDS so it’ll transfer the call. Sometimes the calls cut off even sooner. (Gee, I hope it wasn’t something I said.)
And where have we heard that “my side” line before?
