Script for Linux Users to quickly make VM look real (Virtualbox)

Hi there,

I thought I would share this small Script I wrote as I haven’t seen anyone do this for Linux yet. Meaning Linux is your Host OS.
The script should be run with the VM powered off and the VirtualBox GUI closed, otherwise settings can/will be overwritten.
This also applies if you would like to change any of the settings by re-running the script or perform changes by hand.
Tested & currently works on both Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10

One Thing that really peeves me which I couldnt change is the Host CPU…sadly.

You can download the Script from here:
https://anonfile.com/Bc4d0crco7/ScamSetupV1_sh

Usage:

  1. Copy Script into Virtualbox Folder
    cd /usr/lib/virtualbox

  2. Execute Script include the Name of your VM to change:
    ./ScamSetupV1.sh Windows10-Scambait

Done.
To make this Script and its Settings as believable as possible I have used one of my actual old PCs and copied its Specs.

Please let me know if you need help using it. Or if it can be improved.

Take care, :mask:
