[Number-Removed] is the number that came up on my phone. It came up with the prerecorded message saying my social security number has been suspended and in order to get it back I had to speak with one of their agents and pay a fine. I pressed 1 to speak to an agent.
I’m sorry, but I’m not feeling good, so was not in the mood for a long, drawn-out scam, right now. So I just asked the “agent” straight away, “Why are you scamming people?” I will admit his response made me laugh, “It’s easy money.” I told him I would be reporting the number and to have a nice day. He said “thank you,” and I hung up.
