It’s been awhile since I made one of these posts
- Confirm that they’re actually running a scam before you start messing with them
- make sure they’re NOT using a victim’s PC through remote desktop as a shield before you try to destroy the scammer’s machine
- Always run every instance of any remote desktop software inside of your VM NEVER use your host OS, some scammers have access to real malware
- NEVER tell them how deeply you’re compromised their operation, let them be wrong
- you don’t really need a super powerful PC or advanced tech skills to be a scambaiter, just using a burner VOIP with no KYC and calling scammers to waste their time means there’s less opportunity for them to talk to a victim
