Hello everyone. Seems I have some more weekend work to do once again!
Today I am enabling the manual approval for new accounts on TSU. Much like the posts queue, new accounts will have to go through a queue and be manually approved by TSU staff until they will be able to log into their account after creation.
I am making this change due to the recent waves of scammers joining TSU, making posts promoting their own scams, and posing as real users to try and make their scams seems legitimate.
This will be temporary, as you all know the TSU team is just me and @Jhawk ATM. With everything else I am doing I cannot let TSU take up my weekend as it has the past few weeks like this so I am putting some stops in place.
I will reply to this post when the manual approval process is lifted, if it is. This ONLY affects NEW accounts on TSU. Any accounts that are already made will NOT be affected.
Account approval times will vary. Should be within 24hours.
